NIKPA congratulates Professor Reid following the tremendous recognition of her work by the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.
Professor Joanne Reid has received a Royal College of Surgeons Ireland Fellowship Ad Eundem (FFNMRCSI Ad Eundem) on 05.12.22. This prestigious accolade is awarded to candidates in recognition of outstanding work and exceptional leadership and in commendation of significant positive influence and impact on health and society.
NIKPA supports Professor Reid and her colleagues through the Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement research process (PPIE). Such engagement can offer researchers insights into what it is like to live with a medical condition which in turn can make research more relevant to patient groups.
