Supporting Renal Arts Group
The Renal Arts Group is a collaboration between patients, carers, clinicians, academics and artists to develop a programme of research with the ultimate aim of improving the physical and psychological quality of life of those living with kidney disease.
The “A Second Dance” video was released by Public Health Agency in 2020 to promote organ donation. The video features local transplant recipients, and captures the essence of organ donation and the transformational impact it has on the lives of those who receive. Our very own Jean features!
‘The Starman, The Superhero and The Wizards’ is a script written by transplant patient and NIKPA co-chair William Johnston based on his own experience of dialysis, transplant and organ donation. The project aims to raise awareness and educate audiences of the realities of living with chronic disease and the importance of organ donation.
