I joined NIKPA in March 2020, 6 months after my kidney transplant, and just as the world was shutting down due to Covid.

I was diagnosed with kidney disease (IGA nephropathy) over 15 years ago and received my transplant from my husband as a living donor via the Pooled Exchange Scheme, in Sept 2019. I have enjoyed volunteering with NIKPA, a great bunch of people trying to help in any way I can.
