At NIKPA we believe the motto “DIALYSIS TO LIVE, DO NOT LIVE TO DIALYSIS”
We believe you can still have a fulfilling life on dialysis or while waiting for a transplant
The creation and development of the NEW LIFE GARDENS at which Donor Families can Remember Loved ones, Transplant recipients give Thanks to their Donor and Donor Family and those waiting for a transplant can gain hope

Renal Units.

Our aim is to inspire millions of family conversations and registrations for organ and tissue donation, by putting children and young people at the heart of our message in 2021.
Families are always involved before organ donation goes ahead, so we encourage everyone in the family, whatever your age, to have a conversation about organ donation, so that when the time comes your family are certain about what you want. That conversation could be the most powerful thing you ever do to help save lives
Donation Gardens.
The idea of developing a commemorative Organ Donation Garden originated from a Play “G.O.D. GIFT OF DONATION” written by William whilst on dialysis in 2009.
In the Play a member of a donor family, a recently transplanted patient and a patient on dialysis all accidentally meet in an imaginary New Life Garden and they all discuss and end up celebrating the merits of Organ Donation.
William, Geraldine and John wanted to make such a Garden a reality in which donor families could remember their loved ones who gave the Gift of Life: transplant recipients could give thanks to their donor and donor families and those waiting for a transplant could visit to gain strength in the knowledge that there superheroes willing to give the Gift of Life.
