Joyce Guy

My name is Joyce Guy, I have worked as a staff nurse in the Nephrology Department (mostly transplant) from 1977. I recently retired and decided to join NIKPA to keep in touch with my renal family and give a little bit back.

From joining, I have taken the role from the late Theresa Smyth in organising the Kidney Patients Big Day Out to Portrush, which I found very rewarding. This is a wonderful group of people who give up their free time for the benefit of other Renal patients in Northern Ireland. .
